Step 1: Open "WiMend Data Recovery", select the Hard Disk Drive by clicking where the data lost for scanning. Here we choose D:\ for example.

Step 2: After startup this data recovery tools, there are three scanning options for you. With "Quick Scan" option, you can find almost all deleted file quickly. If you can't find the files you are interested in with quick scan, please use "Full Scan", which can find all recoverable files on a dirve. If you want to recover data from a formatted drive, "Unformatting Scan" is needed. Here we select quick scan for example.

Step 3: Click "Yes" to perform scanning, or click "No" to abandon scan. After scanning, the results of data searching will be listed.

Step 4: Click "Find" button to specialize the file type for recovering. The software provide picture reocvery, video recovery, compressed file recovery etc. Just select file type you are interested in, then click "OK" to continue recovering data.

Finally, select the file from list and click "Recover" to special saving location and perform recovery.
